Put on your dancing shoes, and get crazy with Star Dance School at our Saturday Ballroom and Latin Dance Party, every 2nd Saturday of every month, at 8:00pm in our Brighton location!

Intro Group Lesson begins at 8:00pm (optional, but a wonderful way to break the ice with fellow dancers!)
Dance Party begins at 8:30pm.

What is a “Ballroom Social”?
A ballroom social is a dance party featuring ballroom dance styles. Music is played for Standard and Smooth styles such as waltz, foxtrot, and tango as well as Latin and Rhythm styles including salsa, rumba, cha-cha, and the like. At Star Dance School Socials an optional 30 minute group dance lesson kicks off the evening as well!

What on earth should I wear?!
Smart-casual to elegant attire is encouraged, but most importantly wear clothing you can move around in comfortably. If you do not have ballroom shoes often a light weight dress shoe will do the trick. *Note: Please avoid sneakers or metal spike-heel shoes as they can damage our floor. Thank you for your understanding!*

Do I need a partner?
Partners are welcome, but not required to enjoy a night out on the town with us! Social dancing is a fantastic way to make new friends and we encourage dancers to rotate partners in order to meet new people.

Do I need prior dance experience?
Whether it is your first time dancing or you have years of ballroom under your belt, all levels are welcome to attend our socials!
